English: This is the real-time animation where each frame displayed at 1 fps rate usually corresponds to 1 second of actual flight. For this animation of flight 5 of Ingenuity 128 frames acquired by the navigation camera (NAV) of the helicopter were used.

Animation starts from the photo taken at 12:33:25 local mean solar time on May 7, 2021 (sol 76 of the Perseverance rover mission), a few seconds after departure from Airfeld A. Traces of the Perseverance rover are seen below. Timestamp for the last photo is 12:35:01, a few seconds before Ingenuity landed at Airfield B.

The NAV camera is mounted in the helicopter’s fuselage and points directly downward to track the ground during flight.
